AppBox: Useful 16 Apps in One App Reviews

Had to reload this app and was very disappointed to find ad banners that cover the bottom half of the keypad, basically rendering the Tip Calc and other apls in the AppBox useless. So my next move was to buy AppBox Pro. Oh well, the tip calc in that version is far to complicated to be useful. At least with the old version of AppBox I could punch in the info and get the totals within seconds. But no more, and with that I am done with AppBox.

Try using the tip calculator and you cannot access the keypads thanks to the size of the ads. They wont go behind, minimize or close.

In the tip calculator the keyboard is covered by ads and you cant enter numbers on the bottom row and if you can get the ads to go away when select the bottom row the keyboard then closes.

Tip Calc not working. Ad covers 1, 2, 3, and 0 buttons on number pad. If I turn off internet, the ad disappears and you can see all numbers. But, pressing 1, 2, 3, or 0 closes the number pad and you cant enter any amount.

This was an excellent App until recently when they update it and now the bottom numbers on the tip calculator are cover by an useless Ad.

New update for ios9 , force you to use the ad. Not going to use it again

The updated version has an ad banner that hides the bottom row of the tip calculator keypad. Now useless. Goodbye!!

I had to give 1 star. Since you updated your app, the ads cover the bottom. Now youre not able to use some of the apps. I used to use this app all the time and really liked it but now Im frustrated with it and Ill no longer use it. Sorry guys.

While they fixed the tip calculator display issue, they have now added a full screen takeover ad before you can use the tip calculator. And they kept the banner ad at the bottom of the screen as well. Too much intrusion for me. I will find a new app for this purpose. I am removing it from my devices.

Im using this app years, but the ads are horible! Please remove the ads, I will rather pay for addfree app! I hate that now!

I used to find this app quite useful, but with the advent of "full page" ads that cover the screen, Im done with it!

Ive used this app four four years, until today. Suddenly, my frequent use of this once fine tool is interrupted by screen blocking ads. And a new banner ad at the bottom of the main screen, so close to the selectors that about a third of the time Im whisked away to some ad site. This means that my concentration on my task is broken and a once useful tool is reduced to being a toy. There is a pro version of this app. Sort of. I happily paid for it just to make sure this company made some money. However, that app is so menu driven and scattered, that this version is actually superior. I like the simple, direct one stop graphic menu this version has. I hate the intrusiveness of the ads. Im sorry AppBox. Its over.

On this version of the app, obstructive full-screen ads come up every time you try to use it. The last thing I need is to have to wait several seconds while an ad runs when Im trying to calculate a tip at a restaurant.

Well done! Thank you! Theres quite a disjointed link between the AppBox & the AppBox Pro apps. Although I earlier purchased the AppBox Pro app, in the hope of regaining the functionality that has been restored in this release, I view the AppBox Pro app as being nearly worthless, as it offers no consequential features, whatsoever....

One of my favorite, actually useful apps. Probably one of my oldest apps. Its made the cut from phone to phone. iOS to iOS. But this latest update is junk. Yes I understand u need to advertise. And I get the banner at the bottom. But those full screen pop up ads that seem to take forever to let you close them (1.if at all 2.if you could find the "x/close" button) makes it feel like my phones been hacked. Please get rid of them.
